At Christmas Expressions, every piece is thoughtfully handcrafted and carefully inspected before it leaves our studio. We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our creations and strive to ensure that each item arrives in excellent condition.

Due to the handmade and often one-of-a-kind nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or store credits for any reason, including change of mind, personal preference, or incorrect purchase selection.

Custom, personalized, and made-to-order items are also non-refundable and non-returnable once production has begun.

Welcome to Christmas Expressions! Every item we make is carefully crafted and shipped directly from our studio in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada. Because we ship a unique mix of items—ranging from delicate epoxy resin pieces to heavy, handcrafted wooden crates and large trays—we utilize optimized, secure carrier networks to ensure your order arrives safely.

• Ready-made Items: Shipped within 1–3 business days.

• Made-to-Order / Custom Pieces: Shipped within 5–10 business days (varies by design complexity).
  You will receive an automated email containing your tracking number and a link to our tracking page the moment your package leaves our facility.

🛃 International Customs, Duties, and Taxes

🇪🇺 European Union (EU) & United Kingdom (UK) Orders

In compliance with international e-commerce tax laws, all orders bound for the UK and EU are subject to local Value-Added Tax (UK VAT of 20% / European VAT up to 27%). To guarantee a seamless delivery, our shipping portal utilizes DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) systems. Applicable import taxes are calculated and collected directly during your label generation process, meaning your package will clear border customs smoothly without unexpected secondary carrier fees.

🌎 Rest of the World (US, Peru, Trinidad, Hong Kong)

Items crossing international borders may be evaluated for standard customs processing fees or destination import tariffs as dictated by your local government. These legal import charges remain the sole responsibility of the buyer.

🪵 Australia Biosecurity Compliance

We completely protect your shipments against strict Australian Quarantine Inspection Services (AQIS) laws. All wooden crates and trays exported to Australia are manufactured exclusively from highly processed wood mediums and are thoroughly coated, varnished, and permanently sealed. They are explicitly declared with proper 6-digit Harmonized Tariff Codes (4420.10) to ensure safe passage through customs borders without quarantine interventions.

📦 Failed Deliveries and Incorrect Addresses

Please meticulously review your physical shipping address during checkout. We cannot modify shipping paths once a package leaves our studio. If an international package is rejected by the customer or returned to Canada due to an incorrect address entry, the buyer will be responsible for the secondary postage fees required to reship the items.

All merchandise is packaged with the utmost care and attention to help ensure safe delivery. However, once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, Christmas Expressions cannot be held responsible for delays, loss, mishandling, or damage that may occur during transit.

Shipping rates displayed at checkout are based on standard ground or regular postal service rates. If a customer requests expedited shipping, Express Post, Priority Post, courier service, or any upgraded shipping method, additional charges may apply.

Should additional shipping charges be required, an email detailing the revised shipping costs will be sent to the customer prior to shipment. Orders requiring upgraded shipping services will not be shipped until all additional shipping charges have been paid in full.

For oversized, high-value, or fragile shipments, a photograph of the shipping receipt, including tracking information and any applicable insurance coverage, will be emailed to the customer once the shipment has been processed. Customers should retain this information for their records and for any potential claims with the shipping carrier.

Customers are encouraged to inspect their package upon arrival. In the event that a parcel is damaged during shipping, any claims for compensation must be made directly with the shipping carrier in accordance with their policies and procedures.

While Christmas Expressions is not responsible for shipping-related damage, we will gladly provide any available information or documentation required to assist customers with filing a claim with the carrier.
